Now that the dust has settled from moving in our new home I thought I would touch bases with you. I wanted to thank you again for all your help. As you may recall, I have been in the mortgage business for 15 years and recently dropped out of the industry for personal reasons. I have always done my own home loans, being that I was in the business. When I originated home loans for myself or clients, I always did my 100% best job and effort at obtaining the best financing. In turn, I expect the same from those helping me with my financing concerns.
My original search for a home loan started with Wells Fargo Bank and Kinecta Credit Union. I went against all of my advice that I gave to all my past mortgage clients and I worked with a bank instead of a broker. Huge mistake. Both lenders turned out to be nightmares. They are not knowledgeable or capable enough to work in a difficult purchase market. They do not know how to give the necessary service in a difficult or fast paced market. Also, they are only able to offer "one" loan product, "theirs". They will give you the best loan that "they" have, whereas a broker or a mortgage banker can look at every loan program available from every lender. I reluctantly came to you after an agent gave me your name and number. That was the best move I made in my home search. You were there every time I needed you to work up a prequal, go over numbers, structure a strategy, and go over various lending options in a difficult mortgage market. I ended up with a great loan-the best the market had to offer. I am forever grateful for your time and effort and will recommend you to anyone who needs a mortgage loan. How are you doing? Our meeting with Brad went great!!!!! He made us feel extremely comfortable when talking with him and had so much information for us as well. It really was a perfect match!! It was so nice tof him to take the time to explain everything loans, points etc and help us to understand everything too. Now that we have figured out a number we can work with would you mind adjusting the search list to 450,000? I think after talking with him it helped motivate Mike into looking sooner and not waiting for that perfect time to buy.
